Saturday’s CSI5*-W 1.50m presented by Sharjah Sport Council in Sharjah (UAE) went to Belgium’s Constant van Paesschen and the 12-year-old mare Diaz du Thot (Ready Boy des Forets x Diams du Grasset).
In a jump-off of five, the Belgian pair took the win with a time of 43.95 ahead of Ali Hamad Al Kirbi (UAE) and Jarlin de Torres (Jarnac x Calvaro F.C.) in second in 44.74 and Mohamed Shafi Mohamed Alremeithi (UAE) on Dowan vd Vosberg Z (Dominator 2000 Z x Pythagoras) in third in 47.57.
With a single time penalty in the jump-off, Tommaso Arricca (ITA) and Heavy Plot (Plot Blue x Gelha’s VDL Emilion) finished fourth, while a fence down in 49.44 left Vladimir Tuganov (PLE) and Jurry Bleu K (VDL Zirocco Blue x Couleur Rubin) to fifth.
