Sophie Hinners (GER) and the 10-year-old gelding Iron Dames Singclair (Singular Ls La Silla x Cardento) won Friday’s CSI5*-W Grand Prix qualifier at Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club in Sharjah (UAE), where the last leg of the FEI Jumping World Cup™ Arab League - Middle East Sub-League takes place this weekend.
The competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group C saw 66 horse-and-rider combinations line up, and it was Hinners and Singclair that delivered the quickest time when crossing the finish line in 63.45. The German duo took the win ahead of Lily Attwood (GBR) and Karibou Horta (Landor S x For Pleasure) in second in 63.89. The third spot went to Vladimir Tuganov (PLE) and Conquida de Revel PS (Conthargos x Quidam de Revel), while Ali Hamad Al Kirbi (UAE) and Jarlin de Torres (Jarnac x Calvaro F.C) finished fourth in 64.18, followed by Constant van Paesschen (BEL) and Isidoor van de Helle (Canturo x Qredo de Paulstra) in fifth in 64.40.
