Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) and Ballerine du Vilpion (Baloubet du Rouet x Quidam de Revel) won Saturday’s CSI4* 1.50m Prix Mon Carton de Vin at Jumping International Mâcon Chaintré in France.

Twelve out of the forty-five horse-and-rider combinations at start cleared their way to the jump-off, where Bost clocked the winning time of 40.21. Fanny Guerdat-Skalli (FRA) and Katja Loma W (Cardento x Quidam B Z) took the runner-up spot in 41.56 seconds, while Wilm Vermeir (BEL) and Jonkheer van't Veldhoven (Cornet Obolensky x Epleaser van’T Heike) placed third in 42.30, followed by Jennifer Hochstaedter (LIE) and Winnetou de la Hamente Z (Winningmood x Socrate de Chivre) in fourth in 43.91 and Elian Baumann (SUI) aboard Jour De Fete Del Cabanon (Cornet Obolensky x Nabab de Reve) in fifth in 44.90.

"It's always nice to win,” Bost said in a press release from Jumping International Mâcon Chaintré. “Here, the ground is so good, Ballerine felt great and for sure, I'm happy to win for the first time here. In the jump-off, I was reasonable at the start because Ballerine is quite fast naturally. I think I gained time by going for the last and the penultimate! We had already won a class last week in Italy and she won another one now, so we can say that Ballerine is in good shape! The initial course was quite technical, it was a good course. The course designer, Cédric Longis, did a great job!"
