Current world number nine Richard Vogel (GER) and the nine-year-old mare Call Me Jabri (Call Me Pezi x Böckmann’s Lord Pezi) won Thursday's CSI4* 1.45 ZMB Meisterbetrieb GmbH Prize at the DKB Pferdewoche in Hohen Wischendorf, Germany.
Stopping the clock on 60.34 seconds, Vogel took the win 5.3 seconds ahead of second-placed Vladimir Tuganov (PLE) and Jurry Bleu K (VDL Zirocco Blue x Couleur Rubin). Christian Kukuk (GER) and Chageorge (Chacco-Blue x Sanvaro) took the third place in 66.49, followed by Markus Renzel (GER) on Pikeur Cole’s Balou (Cole Porter x Baloubet du Rouet) in fourth in 66.74 and Philipp Weishaupt (GER) aboard Oreo D.R. (Kannan x Balougran) in fifth in 67.41.
"We've had Call Me Jabri at our stables since she was five," Vogel said in a press release from DKB Pferdewoche. "I know her very well and have ridden her several times. I think we're a very good match in terms of personality; I like horses with a bit more energy. She likes forward riding, and so do I. I just tried not to get in her way and navigate her as harmoniously as possible."
