Amazing day yesterday for Alex winning the Global!!!!!! So after his success while doing the blog I decided today I should take it back!

Woke up 6.10, quick shower finished packing my suitcase and on the shuttle by 6.30! Had a 20 minute nap on the bus and arrived at the stables still feeling like my bed would be the best thing in the world ever! A few people went out into the city last night so whilst doing the morning jobs we had to catch up on all the news and it's safe to say I'm very glad we had a quiet night last night! Met Alex on the way to longing which Van really appreciated as he got to stare at Walnut the whole time! Of course Alex was a little bit late with longing Regina so Bella from Ludger was allowed to decide if Alex could lunge or not as she was riding in the arena. Bella being super nice said it was now problem for her and after her 3 amazing rounds yesterday Regina was not so wild at all to lunge. I think Alex was almost moving more than Regina!

First class was already at 10.30 so quick hand walk for Alien before this as he wasn't getting exercised until afterwards. Nice plaits for Vanny and then off to the ring! Van was super again today and ended 2nd! No chance to catch Kent this weekend in the speed classes as he won all three but 2nd in two of them was a really good result from Van! Alex wasn't jumping this class so of course he was having a little minute to sit down and relax!  Hottest topic of the day was the fact that Marco actually thought that me and Alex were a couple! This first of all made me shell shocked and then laughter kicked in before more disbelief! Friends we defiantly are but a couple defiantly not! I think a death would occur within 24hours!!! So of course this led to many jokes from our friends and a few comments to assure Marco that we are NOT a couple!!

After all this drama Alien was exercised and then had a little bit quiet time before making him ready for the class. I was trying to get organised as much as possible all day as it was going to be tight with getting our equipment packed and sending it off to customs and then the plane as we fly out early hours of the morning with the horses. Alien was early to go in the class and jumped a super clear again today. Walnut had two down today not her day but Alex was good yesterday so all ok. Alien was awesome again in the jump off and clear! In the end we finished 3rd so a top weekend for us!

Finishing up and packing was next for me whereas Alex was able to take a break and relax! Are you noticing a pattern! Luckily it went fast and hopefully I didn't forget anything. Now heading back to the hotel for a quick shower before my long trip back to Europe begins. Alex gets an extra day here before heading home and on to the next show. Shanghai was a super fun city and the show went really good for both of us so hopefully we can come back again next year!

And we both want to know when we can blog again as this seems to be bringing us some luck!!!!!
