The first 2016 WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List for breeders of showjumping horses was released in May, and it is Chesall Zimequest (Casall x Concerto II) ridden by Simon Delestre that tops the ranking. The 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding is bred Günther Schüder.

205 points behind follows Hello Forever (For Pleasure x Nimmerdor), a 10-year-old Oldenburger gelding ridden by Scott Brash that is bred by Stoeterij Ariane. Rank three is the 12-year-old French-bred stallion Quickly de Kreisker (Diamant de Semilly x Laudanum xx) that can be seen under Abdelkebir Ouaddar. Quickly's breeder is Guillaume Ansquer.

The Holsteiner-mare Lintea Tequila (Campbell x Corrado II) bred by Erik Schöning and ridden by Edwina Tops-Alexander is rank four, while Quiet Easy 4 (Quidam's Rubin x Zapateado) ridden by Bertram Allen is rank five.

For the studbooks, the Holsteiner Verband leads the way on the rankings with Chesall Zimequest, Lintea Tequila and Lacrimoso 3 HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle) as their three best representatives. Rank two is the Selle Français studbook with Quickly de Kreisker, Qlassic Bois Margot (l'Arc de Triomphe x Galoubet A) and Mic Mac du Tillard (Cruising x Galoubet A) as their three best horses. Third is the KWPN studbook that has Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando), Taloubet Z (Galoubet A x Polydor) and Ulena (Baloubet du Rouet x Indoctro) as their three best representatives on the list.
