This beautiful five year old young mare comes to us straight from her breeder and she’s already had a very impressive career. Here are some of the highlights:

As a four year old Cristella was ridden in by Judith Emmers, who did a very good job in preparing her for a big future. The German Equestrian Federation records 47 placings (including 29! wins) for her in classes up to 1.30m, many of them with scores up in the nines. Cristella was the clear winner of all qualifier classes for the Bundeschampionat 2016 that she competed in – with scores ranging between 8.7 and 9.2. In the final of the German Young Horse Championship for Five Year Old Show Jumping Horses the judges gave her a 9.5, putting her in sixth place overall. At the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken in September 2016, she won both qualification classes and was placed in the final after completing two fantastic rounds.

All these achievements demonstrate that this horse has been brought on perfectly and is right on track. This highly talented mare has exceptional scope, she’s light-footed and she has a lovely jump. It made no difference how high we put up the jumps at the video shoot, she cleared them all with ease. Cristella is also a very easy ride and an unconditionally willing horse that loves her daily exercise routine and never fails to perform in the ring.

Cristella’s bloodline perfects the whole package. Young sire Cristallo II, celebrated winner of the NRW licensing, Vice-Westphalian Champion and serial winner in young horse classes, is now a top show jumping horse with Henrik von Eckermann and Tadahiro Hayashi. His sire Cornet Obolensky and the dam’s sire Cassini I have both made an indelible mark on modern sport horse breeding. His dam Cassie competed in 1.30m, classes and grand-dam Profilda won many 1.50m rosettes. The first crop of foals are now competing in young horse classes and Cristella is the most impressive sibling this season.

Cristella’s dam’s sire Coronados Boy is a Rhineland stallion that unites the valuable Holstein bloodlines of Coronado and Caretino. Westphalian stallion Polygraf by Polydor out of a dam by Joachim by Graphit refines the pedigree in the third generation.
