Sunday’s CSI3* Grand Prix in Vermezzo – a 1.50/1.55 competition in two phases – was won by Switerland’s Paul Estermann and Lord Pepsi (Lord Pezi x Santander H).

Ending the second phase in 42,42, Estermann was over a second faster than runner-up Yves Houtackers (NED) and Abrisco V (Sam R x Karandasj).

The class consisted of 50 riders and the 13 best qualified for the second round. In the end it was only the two on top who produced two clear rounds while number three Luca Marziani (ITA) and Tokyo du Soleil (Montender x Papillon Rouge) finished with one time penalty from the first round.
