Emma Augier de Moussac (CZE) was on brilliant form at the CSI4* Sunshine Tour on Friday, winning both of the two biggest classes.
In the 1.50m Cadena Ser Big Tour D counting for the Longines Ranking, Augier de Moussac rode Kanonja (Kannan x Baloubet du Rouet) to victory. Their jump-off time of 41.07 seconds kept her ahead of Julio Arias (ESP) on Farah Van Klapscheut (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Heartbreaker) who with a time of 41.31 seconds settled into runner-up position. Billy Twomey (IRL) and Tin Tin (Cavalier x Animo) slipped into third in 41.34 seconds, while Boy-Adrian Van Gelderen (BEL) took the fourth place and Joao Pereira (POR) fifth.
Earlier in the day, Emma won the 1.45m Big Tour C aboard Copia (Cobra x Sandro). With a time of 28.19 seconds in phase two, she left Joe Whitaker (GBR) on Diola (Locarno 62) behind her – with 0.7 seconds separating them. Third place went to Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Ibero Van De Noordheuvel (Boris Van Het Kluizebos x Darco).
On Thursday, Richard Howley (GBR) won the 1.50m Big Tour D riding Calmond (Clarimo x Ramiro's S.II) to a clear round and a time of 59.38 seconds. More than four seconds behind followed Julio Alvarez Moya (ESP) on G&C Quitador Rochelais (Jarnac x Unau du Fonteny), while thrid place went to Jos Verlooy (BEL) on Caracas (Casall x Colman).
