The WBFSH has presented the winners of the final 2018 WBFSH Rolex World Ranking Lists for breeders and studbooks of jumping horses.

The Rolex award winning breeder in showjumping is Mario Everse, for the 14-year-old KWPN gelding Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) — ridden by Harrie Smolders. Zinius has topped the WBFSH Rolex World Ranking Lists for breeders of jumping horses throughout 2018, and finished on a score of 1620 points.

Zinius is followed by Eric Lamaze’s Fine Lady 5 (Forsyth FRH x Drosselklang II) on 1615 points. Fine Lady 5 is a 14-year-old Hannoveraner mare bred by Wilhelm Leymann. Sharing the runner-up position on the final 2018 ranking with Fine Lady 5, is Steve Guerdat's 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare Bianca (Balou du Rouet x Cardento) that is bred by Stall Hickey.

This year the Dutch studbook KWPN has dominated the studbook rankings by holding the first place in all three disciplines, including jumping. On the final studbook rankings for 2018, Zinius, Explosion W (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) and Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) were ranked as the three best KWPN representatives.

At the 2018 WBFSH annual meeting in Budapest in December the winning studbooks will be honored, and so will the winning breeders during CHI Geneva in December.
