Thursday's CSIO5* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier in Geesteren presented by Frankonia Eurobau went to Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and the 10-year-old mare J-Fygyelem (Vingino x Animo). 

The Brazilian rider was over a second faster than runner-up Gianni Govoni (ITA) and Antonio 3 (Oklund x Dick Z) in the jump-off. Gerardo Menendez (ESP) and Costello DC 4 (Cassino x breeding unknown) finished third, almost four second behind the winner. Best on behalf of the hosts was Michael Greeve (NEDI in fourth with Turbo Z 5 (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve x Renville), while Janne Frederike Meyer (GER) and Bali (Cancara x Landucci) ended fifth.
