Press release from the Jumping Owners Club

Last August, the Jumping Owners Club (JOC), the only association of owners of international show jumping horses, approved by the FEI (International Equestrian Federation), signed a sponsorship agreement with the Swiss watchmaker LONGINES. This agreement makes LONGINES the official partner of the club. In this way, the Swiss watch maker will guide the JOC through its development and support its actions with the equestrian world in order to strengthen the place of the owners in the sport.

Mister Dominique Mégret, Chairman of the Jumping Owners Club, is pleased about this agreement. “I want to thank in particular the managers of Longines” Mr Dominique Mégret said. “We wanted to lean on a strong partner, well established in the equestrian sports, to help us following our activities. By choosing to support the JOC, Longines bears out its commitment within the equine industry, and shows the significance of the owners in our sport. Thanks to its aid, Longines contributes to develop our activities and to broaden our action”.

Apart from visibility on the different communication materials of the club, Longines becomes then the Title Sponsor of the now well-known Owner of the Year trophy awarded each year by the Jumping Owners Club, being named now the “Longines Owner of the Year Award”.
