After four years of successful co-operation, Canada's Kara Chad has left Eric Lamaze’s Torrey Pines Stable.

On her Instagram account, the 24-year-old rider writes: "After an incredible 4 years with the most amazing people & horses I have said goodbye to Torrey Pines. Thank you to the TP team for everything you’ve done for me. I am beyond grateful for the memories, knowledge and lifelong friendships I have gained which I will never forget as I embark on a new adventure! There are many people to mention that have been with me throughout these special years but without one person none of this would have been possible..... Thank you Eric for your trust and belief in me. I am so proud to have worked for you and you will continue to be my daily inspiration."

Under Lamaze’s guidance, Chad has made a rise through the ranks. In 2018, she represented Canada at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon.

Chad is currently at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain where she is preparing for the 2020-season before moving on to the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera.
