There’s plenty of demand from riders, the facilities are in place to deliver a top-level show under ideal conditions and Holger Hetzel and his team are as motivated as ever. That’s why the decision was made to round off their successful three-show series over the previous weeks with a big final event on the 9-10 June at Holger’s facility in Goch. “We have the perfect set-up for both horses and riders here and, thanks to the support of our horse feed partner Höveler, we can take advantage of it one more time to host a first-rate show culminating in the 1.50m Höveler Grand Prix with a jump-off. It’s a great honour to be organising the season’s first three-star class with jump-off in Germany," said Holger Hetzel, who is delighted to have the generous sponsorship of Höveler.

In addition to the Grand Prix the event programme includes 1.25m and 1.35m classes, as well as 1.40m and 1.45m classes. Many of Holger’s international colleagues have already confirmed their entries and the list of interested riders is long.

“We’re proud to be supporting this event by sponsoring the Grand Prix because it’s in all our interests to get the competitive show jumping scene moving again. And Holger Hetzel is a name that stands for quality. We’ve seen plenty of evidence of that during the shows over the past three weeks,” said Udo Steinbock, member of the managing board at EQUOVIS GmbH.

The conditions are as excellent as you’d find at the best international shows, course designer Peter Schumacher will be building his challenging yet fair courses and the famous names in the programme are helping the event to build on an already impressive reputation.

“I’m pleased to say that the support of Höveler and our other generous sponsors means our riders won’t have to pay any additional entry costs, despite the coronavirus-related measures,” added the show jumper. “Everyone just pays the regular entry fees and the winners get the full prize money payout.” No other show in Germany is offering this to riders.

The event on 9 and 10 June 2020 is being broadcasted live on Clipmyhorse.tv so that anyone who is interested can livestream it.
