Hubside Jumping in Grimaud, France is in its fourth and last week of competition and on Thursday Belgium's Jérôme Guery took the biggest win when topping the CSI4* 1.45m class.
Riding the 10-year-old stallion Eras Ste Hermelle (Vargas de Ste Hermelle x Andiamo), Guery was a bit more than a second faster than Germany's Christian Kukuk on Botaro (Balou du Rouet x Gralshueter). Third place went to Brazil's Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Icarus (Douglas x Sioux de Baugy), four seconds behind the winning time. Belgium's Constant van Paesschen finished fourth with Jaguar D Avontuur Ter Linden (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Tenor Manciais) while Marie Demonte was best of the French when finishing fifth with Las Vegas Vd Padenborre (Calvaro (Holst) x Diamant de Semilly).
