Jerome Guery has announced the sale of his talented 10-year-old mare Margriet de Mariposa (Nabab de Reve x For Pleasure).
On his official Facebook page, Guery wrote: “Resulting from our close cooperation with the Elevage de Mariposa, the arrival of Margriet de Mariposa (Flora's daughter) five years ago was the beginning of a beautiful adventure... During these last five years, Margriet has shown her progression, her great abilities and her incredible talent. Today, Margriet will go to the United States and Bellwyn Farm to make her new rider happy. We wish her a lot of happiness and success with this great mare. Together with Koen Vereeke, we would also like to thank Vincent Lambrecht (Stal Lambrecht) for his role in this sale.”
With Guery in the saddle, Margriet de Mariposa – a daughter of Flora de Mariposa – won a CSI3* Grand Prix class in Oliva Nova, Spain, last year, and went on to compete at the highest level, jumping at CHIO Aachen this summer, and picking up top-three finishes at venues such as Dinard, La Baule and Rome.
