The French domination at Hubside Jumping Grimaud-Golfe de Saint-Tropez continued on Saturday with home wins in the small Grand Prix classes in both the CSI2* and CSI4*.

In the small Grand Prix of the CSI4*, set at 1.45m and counting for the Longines Ranking, François-Xavier Boudant piloted GFE Cicave du Talus (Untouchable M x Voltaire) to victory after a jump-off against nine other horse-and-rider combinations. Germany’s Michael Jung and Fischerdante (Diarado x Alvarez 17) took the runner-up position, 0.63 seconds behind the winning time, ahead of Frenchman Edward Levy and Sirius Black (Calisco du Pitray x Laudanum) in third.

In the CSI2* 1.45m, counting for the Longines Ranking, Nicolas Delmotte – part of the French Olympic team for Tokyo – went to the top with Dallas Vegas Batilly (Cap Kennedy*Bois Margot x l'Arc de Triomphe*Bois Margot). It was a French trio on the podium, with Jérôme Hurel on Elektra du Val Henry (President x Diamant de Semilly) in second, and Roger-Yves Bost on Delph de Denat (Air Jordan x Dollar Dela Pierre) in third.
