The final online auction collection of 2021 has been published at www.thebillystudauction.co.uk. The collection includes ten 3 year olds and, for the first time ever, four broodmares who are in foal for 2022.

We are asked frequently if we would ever sell any of our broodmares and until now we haven’t felt the time was right to do so. Following another successful breeding season this year, the decision was made to diversify some of the bloodlines we are using. The broodmares are the very cornerstone of what we do at The Billy Stud so including these four in the auction is giving people access to something very special indeed!

The mares are direct relations of horses from the highest level in sport including Billy Orange (1.60m), Billy Autumn (1.60m), Billy Bella (1.60m), Billy Walk On (CCI5*) and European gold medalist Billy Congo (1.60m). The foals due are by Zinedine, Grandorado and Chacoon Blue.

The rest of the collection is made of ten 3 year olds who boast the likes of Billy Angelette (1.60m), Billy Onslow (1.60m), Billy Laden (1.60m), Billy Grand (1.60m) and Billy Bud (1.55m) as direct relations.

2021 has been very positive for us in respect of the growth of the auctions and most importantly, the success stories that follow on! The Billy Stud was represented by 7 horses at the recent World Championships for young horses - 5 of these came from our online auctions!
