Two wins for Martin Fuchs at London International Horse Show

Coming straight from his Grand Prix victory in Geneva, Martin Fuchs (SUI) continued his winning streak at London International Horse Show on Thursday when taking the top honours in both the 1.50m Santa Stakes and the 1.45m Christmas Pudding Speed Stakes. 

In the 1.50m Santa Stakes, the world no. four was one of twelve riders moving on to the jump-off where he produced the fastest time with The Sinner (Sanvaro x Landgold 3) – stopping the clock at 32.84 seconds. Only 0.09 seconds behind followed Max Kühner (AUT) with EIC Coriolis des Isles (Zandor x Tlaloc M), taking the runner-up position. It was a close call among the top three; third place went to Christian Ahlmann (GER) on Solid Gold Z (Stakkato Gold x Calvin Z) with a time of 32.95 seconds. Ben Maher (GBR) was best of the home riders, finishing fourth with Faltic HB (Baltic VDL x Concorde), while fifth place went to Pieter Devos (BEL) on Mom's Isaura (Tinka's Boy x Darco). 

In the Christmas Pudding Speed Stakes, Fuchs rode Tam Tam du Valon (Ogrion des Champs x Quidam de Revel) to the win. With a time of 53.34, Fuchs left Ben Maher to the runner-up position with Ginger-Blue (Plot Blue x Royal Bravour) – 0.23 seconds separated the two riders. Third place went to Olivier Robert (FRA) on Velvote des Aubiers (Jaguar Mail x Duc de Ferce), who stopped the clock at 54.48 seconds.
