Suzanne van Mierlo “The change I noticed in the young horses I work with was remarkable,” Suzanne van Mierlo says about starting to feed Equine 74 Gastric.

Suzanne van Mierlo runs a training stable for young showjumpers in Heel, the Netherlands, right on the border to Belgium. “People bring their young horses to us unbroken, so most of the time we introduce them to the saddle and after they take their first steps into the sport with us,” Suzanne explains. “Usually, these horses stay with us until they are five- or six-years-old and then they return back to their owners – to go for the bigger sport. We co-operate with a few big names such as Jos Lansink and Lucy Davis.”

Less stress means the horses gain much more confidence and are much more co-operative

After being impressed by the results her friend Theo Molenaers experienced when using Equine 74 Gastric on his horses, Suzanne introduced the product to her youngsters. “I found Equine 74 Gastric through Theo Molenaers, my partner here in the stable,” Suzanne tells. “Theo introduced me to Equine 74 Gastric as he feeds this supplement every day. I noticed how good his horses looked, and how very calm they were.”

“The change I noticed in the young horses I work with was remarkable,” Suzanne says about starting to feed Equine 74 Gastric. “I have a lot of bloody horses, both mares and stallions, that are quite nervous by nature. When we started feeding Equine 74 Gastric, I first of all felt them becoming better on the leg. In general, they were calmer, also in the stable and in handling. It felt like it was easier to ask something from them.”

Suzanne van Mierlo "With Equine 74 Gastric, you stay one step ahead of the problem, which can save a lot of time – as well as money," Suzanne van Mierlo says.

Suzanne feeds Equine 74 Gastric to her horses twice a day. “I feed it in the morning with their normal mix, which is a balanced mix of grains. First, they get hay to get the stomach going and 30 minutes later we feed the grains. In the evening, I give them a scoop of pellets and mash, and then they get their second scoop of Equine 74 Gastric,” Suzanne explains.

Before discovering Equine 74 Gastric, Suzanne used a lot of money on omeprazole. “Before, I was using a lot of omeprazole – but then the problem was already there,” Suzanne says. “Equine 74 Gastric on the other hand is extremely useful to prevent these stomach problems. With Equine 74 Gastric, you stay one step ahead of the problem, which can save a lot of time – as well as money. Furthermore, when working with young horses, it’s of huge help as you can cut out a lot of the stress they have because they come into work. Less stress means the horses gain much more confidence and are much more co-operative.”

“I would especially recommend Equine 74 Gastric to those who work with young horses,” Suzanne says. “I think every young horse is going to have stress due to all the new experiences they are exposed to and it will always affect their stomach. In general, I think Equine 74 Gastric is good for everyone who has sport horses – on any level. Equine 74 Gastric can be useful to everyone who wants to help their horse lead a more comfortable life.”

“Another product I like is the Equine 74 CALMRELAX,” Suzanne adds. “This is a paste that you give directly in the mouth, and I use it when I show the horses and for training days. I think it is a super product, and I am extremely happy with how my horses react to it. It is an extra help for the sensitive stomachs.”
