A very special horse show hosting a very special foal auction sale – to be held next week at Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann and Christoph Zimmermann’s Hof Waterkant. The night’s programme on Friday, 5 August, hits its peak at about 9pm with the start of the Holsteiner hybrid auction sale – with three valuable embryos added to the 14 foal collection.
The high-class lot is to be presented prior to the 1.50m class on Friday afternoon and should spark the interest of the attending jumping enthusiasts. Take for example lot No 2, Dark Gold by Dominator Z-Stakkato – this colt foal is out of a full sister to Stakkato Gold, who has made his mark as a sire not least with Marcus Ehning’s Stargold (winner for example of the Doha grand prix). The pedigree of lot No 6 provides very interesting reading as well: Chin Derby is out of the same dam as Cassandra Orschel’s Derby winner Dacara E, who has produced yet another 1.60m jumper, Clintino by Clinton I. And the sire of this appealing colt is the former Holsteiner reserve champion stallion, Chinchero, based at the Meyer-Zimmermann stable. Appreciated and famous all over the world, the mare family of the exceptional Wodka is represented by lot No 6’s dam line: moreover, Jaspers Way is by a very interesting sire, Jasper, an own son of Heartbreaker.
The buyers of lot No 103 by Diamant de Semilly-Nabab de Reve will secure a full sibling to Mumbai (Christian Kukuk/1.65m).
Moreover, in cooperation with Christoph Zimmermann the Holsteiner Verband marketing and auction GmbH team around Roland Metz has succeeded in securing three embryos with exclusive parentage: lot No 101 by last year’s highly acclaimed Holsteiner champion stallion, Esmeraldo, out of a Chacco Blue dam – and no other than a full sister to Chaccos Lady, successfully shown at 1.60m level by Jana Wargers. Lot No 102 is by Emerald van het Ruytershof with the genetic dam being Kaprice van’t Roosakker (Kent Farrington/1.60m).
The buyers of lot No 103 by Diamant de Semilly-Nabab de Reve will secure a full sibling to Mumbai (Christian Kukuk/1.65m).
