Saturday’s feature class at the 2025-edition of the Stuttgart German Masters, the CSI5*-W 1.55m Prize of iWest GmbH & Co.KG, went to Bas Moerings (NED) and the 10-year-old mare Kivinia (I M Special de Muze x Calido I).
Jumping clear in 48.56 in the second round, the Dutch duo took the top honours ahead of the host nation’s Hans-Dieter Dreher and Cous Cous 3 (Cachas x Lasino), who had to settle for second place in 49.47.
Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) and Gb Diamantina (Diamant de Semilly x Silvio II) took third when crossing the finish line in 49.52, followed by Maximilian Weishaupt (GER) on Zuccero HV (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caretino) in third with a time of 53.59 and Sophie Hinners (GER) aboard Iron Dames Kaleni Jo (Kannan x Indoctro) in fifth, carrying four penalties.
Earlier during the day, Switzerland’s Barbara Schnieper and the 15-year-old mare Judy KM (Joly St. Hubert x Saphir von der Rossi) won the CSI5*-W 1.45m Prize of Allianz in Baden-Würtenberg and dias Gebäudemanagement. Brazil’s Yuri Mansur and Vitiki (Valentino x For Expo) took the runner-up spot, followed by Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) on Solidat (Semper Fi x Chacco-Blue) in third, Sameh El Dahan (GBR) aboard WKD Toronto (Tornesch x Carnaval Drum) in fourth and Maximilian Weishaupt (GER) with DSP Omerta Incipit (Levisonn x Candillo) in fifth.
