Rik Hemeryck and Navarro van het Eelshof win Thursday’s CSI5*-W 1.50m Prize of XXL-Sicherheit in Stuttgart

This week, the 2025/2026-season of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League continues on to its fourth stop at the traditional Stuttgart German Masters in Germany. The five-star action at the 39th edition of the event got underway with a Belgian win on Thursday.

Thursday’s CSI5*-W 1.50m Prize of XXL-Sicherheit – the first qualifier for the Stuttgart German Master – saw thirty-nine horse-and-rider combinations line up. In the end, it was Rik Hemeryck (BEL) and the 12-year-old gelding Navarro van het Eelshof (Jappelloup vh Dauwhof x Poleander) that took the top honours in 61.06 seconds.  

Germany’s reigning European champion Richard Vogel and his ten-year-old stallion Phenyo van het Keysersbos (Corydon van T&L x Heartbreaker) stopped the clock in 61.39 seconds, placing second, while Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) and Karonia.L (Harley x G-Ramiro Z), a ten-year-old KWPN mare, came third in 61.59, followed by Peder Fredcricson (SWE) aboard the 11-year-old gelding SV Vroom de la Pomme Z (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Untouchable) in fourth in 62.16 and Sophie Hinners (GER) on Call me Jabri (Call me Pezi x Böckmann’s Lord Pezi) in fifth in 62.21.
