Germany’s own Philipp Schulze Topphoff and the 12-year-old mare Carla NRW (Comme Il Faut x Potsdam NRW) took a home win in Friday’s CSI5*-W 1.55m Prize of Outletcity Metzingen at the 39th edition of the traditional Stuttgart German Masters.
With a time of 68.47, the German duo took the top honours in the second qualifier for the Stuttgart German Master ahead of France’s Julien Epaillard and the 10-year-old Fringan de Vesquerie (Mylord Carthago x Diamant de Semilly) in second in 68.71, while Roger Yves Bost (FRA) and the 14-year-old Ballerine du Vilpion (Baloubet du Rouet x Quidam de Revel) followed in third in 69.05.
Alexa Stais (CYP) with Chad Blue PS (Chacco-Blue x Sandro Boy) and Kevin Staut (FRA) aboard Visconti du Telman (Toulon x Dollar du Murier) rounded up the top five.
