Brits are best in The Mistletoe Stakes, while Bettendorf continues winning streak in The Reindeer Speed Stakes at London International Horse Show

The Brits were the best in Saturday's CSI5*-W 1.50m The Mistletoe Stakes presented by Sport in Mind at London International Horse Show with Matthew Sampson on Balento C.S. (Balou du Rouet x Cento) and Robert Whitaker on Gentlemen vh Veldhof (Quite Easy x Calido I) finishing first and second with 1.31 seconds separating them. Jos Verlooy (BEL) and Etundel de Marocy (Diamant de Semilly x President) completed the podium in third in this class over two rounds counting for the Longines Rankings Group D, while Hessel Hoekstra (NED) and VDL Mindset ES (Aganix du Seigneur x Kannan) finished fourth, followed by Tim Gredley (GBR) and Vuitton of Picobello Z (Vagabond de la Pomme x Contact van de Heffinck) in fifth.

In the CSI5*-W 1.50m The Reindeer Speed Stakes – a Table A against the clock counting for the Longines Rankings Group D – Victor Bettendorf (LUX) continued his winning streak, this time riding Cancun Torel Z (Cosinhus x Grannus) to a time of 58.34 seconds – 0.8 seconds faster than runner-up Jack Whitaker (GBR) on Valmy de la Lande (Mylord Carthago HN x Starter). Álvaro González De Zarate Fernandez (ESP) finished third aboard Casa Diva PS (Casallco x Silvio I), while Marcus Ehning (GER) came in fourth on Baloubets Rose Dree Boeken (Baloubet du Rouet x Darco) followed by Kevin Staut (FRA) in fifth on Hermes de Vesquerie (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Marquis de la Lande).
