Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and the 11-year-old mare Encore Toi du Linon (Kannan x Desir du Chateau) took the top honours in Thursday's CSI5*-W 1.55m Champagne Taittinger Speed Stakes at London International Horse Show. With a time of 56.28 seconds, Bettendorf was by far the fastest in this Table A against the clock counting for the Longines Ranking Group D.

More than two seconds behind, in 58.34 seconds, followed Jos Verlooy (BEL) and Parise van den Dael (Zazu x For Passion D Ive Z), while a time of 58.55 placed Jack Whitaker (GBR) and Valmy de la Lande (Mylord Carthago HN x Starter) third. Sanne Thijssen (NED) and Cupcake Z (Chacco-Blue x Caretano Z) finished fourth after crossing the timers in 59.13 seconds, followed by Álvaro González De Zarate Fernandez (ESP) and Casa Diva PS (Casallco x Silvio I) in fifth in 59.27 seconds
