Germany's Richard Vogel and the phenomenal United Touch S recorded their second Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™-win of the 2024/2025-season when topping the fifth leg of Western European League on home soil in Stuttgart. As the last pair out in a jump-off between three horse-and-rider combinations, Vogel and United Touch S gave the fully packed Hans-Martin-Schleyer-Halle value for their ticket money with a spectacular round that secured them the win – and a standing ovation.
“Stuttgart is kind of my home show,” Vogel said in a press release from the FEI. “A lot of my family and good friends were here, as well as the owner and breeder of United, Julius-Peter Sinnack. It was very emotional to have all those people supporting us. When we entered the arena, United and I had a lot of people behind our backs. Their cheering gave us wings. For sure the goal was to repeat our win here (referring to November 2022) and luck was on our side.”
