The French came strong in force for Sunday morning's CSI5*-W Prix Rio Moquette at Equita Lyon, filling up the top five.
Leading the way was speed machine Julien Epaillard aboard the 12-year-old gelding Quatrin de la Roque LM (Quick Star x Kannan), stopping the clock on 52.65 seconds over the 1.45/1.50m speed track. Then followed four more of Epaillard's compatriots: Jerome Hurel on Urano (Baloubet du Rouet x Kannan) in 53.02 seconds, Margaux Bost on As de Papignies (Kashmir van't Schuttersho x Ahorn Z) in 53.78 seconds, Timothee Anciaume on Australia (Air Jordan Z x Caletto) in 54.81 seconds and Alexandre Fontanelle on Quaprice de l'Etivant (Carpaccio x Qualisco III) in 55.05 seconds.
