France’s Julien Epaillard and the 12-year-old gelding Donatello d’Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) won Sunday night’s CSI5*-W 1.50m presented by KBC Bank & Verzekering at the 2025-edition of Jumping Mechelen in Belgium.
Stopping the clock on 38.34 in a jump-off of seventeen, the current world number nine took the win ahead of the host nation’s Jules van Hoydonck and Minte vd Bisschop (Plot Blue x Parco), who had to settle for second with a time of 38.96.
Bas Moerings (NED) on Kivinia (I’M Special de Muze x Calido I) completed the podium, placing third when crossing the finish line in 39.76, while Niels Bruynseels (BEL) aboard Oaky Flandria (Cabrio vd Heffinck x Cumano) and Gudrun Patteet (BEL) on Sea Coast Chica V.V. Z (Comme Il Faut x Chacco-Blue) followed in fourth and fifth respectively.
