Friday's competitions at the Longines FEI World Cup™ Final 2022 in Leipzig, Germany, ended with a Dutch victory in the CSI3* 1.45m CG Elementum Speed Cup.
Riding the 12-year-old mare Florida Balia NL (Bustique x Lux Z), Mel Thijssen (NED) topped a starting field of 30 horse-and-rider combinations when stopping the clock on 55.74 seconds. Rene Dittmer (GER) on the 12-year-old gelding Farrero (Boss x Labor's VDL Indorado) took the runner-up position with a time of 56.17, while Mario Stevens (GER) on Botakara OLD (Balou du Rouet x Espri) placed third in 56.48. The fourth place went to David Will (GER) on Quentucky Jolly (Nirvana x Ultra Chic AA) and Maximilian Weishaupt (GER) on Nexus (Nekton x Calando I) took the fifth spot.
