Philipp Schulze Topphoff (GER) continued his winning streak in Leipzig when topping Friday's CSI3* 1.50m Idee Kaffee Preis with the 9-year-old mare Carla (Comme Il Faut x Potsdam).
With a time of 56.70 seconds, the German rider bested a field of 42 horse-and-rider combinations. Jos Verlooy (BEL) and FTS Killossery Konfusion (SIEC Livello x Cruising) had to settle for runner-up position after the clock stopped on 56.82 seconds, while Mel Thijssen (NED) placed third with a time of 58.32 on Florida Balia NL (Bustique x Lux Z). Rene Dittmer (GER) on Burlington Riverland (Mylord Carthago x Dollar du Murier) took the fourth place and the fifth spot went to John Whitaker (GBR) on Sharid (Toulon x Vancouleurs).
