Saturday night at Gothenburg Horse Show ended with an exciting accumulator competition presented by Carpe Diem Beds. The class had fences set at 145-150 including a joker. It looked for a while to be the third win for home hero Henrik von Eckermann as he took an early lead with the 12-year-old gelding Little Lord 90 (Lasino x Calato) and set the time to beat at 46,99 seconds. But as second last to go, Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) revenged a bad disappointing round in the Grand Prix to bring home the win with the 13-year-old mare Ustina Sitte (Clinton x Parco). The combination delivered an amazing round and finished with the winning time of 46,15 seconds in front of a fully packed Skandinavium. Von Eckermann had to settle for the second place and Robert Smith (GBR) came third on the 10-year-old gelding Cimano E (Unaniem x Chemnitz) with the time 47,70 seconds.
