As the Grand Prix had just finished Saturday evening in Helsinki, the show continued with a very speedy 150 Longines ranking class against the clock. The Belgians kept impressing and Pieter Devos took an early lead on Haloubet Hitchcock (Baloubet du Rouet x Heartbreaker) with the time 53,52 before Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann cut the time down to 53,09 seconds to take over the lead with Hermes de Mariposa (Canturo x Power Light) at start number fifteen.
As Scott Brash entered the ring with Hello Forever (For Pleasure x Nimmerdor) seven riders later he showed why he has dominated the Longines rankings the past two seasons as he shaved off 1,36 seconds on von Eckermann’s time and could bring home € 10,000 for his win.
Finnish rider Susanna Granroth made the home crowd happy with her seventh place aboard Anatevka (Ustinov x Pierrot).
