Shane Breen (IRL) kicked off the five-star classes at Kingsland Oslo Horse Show with a win on Friday evening, when taking the top honours in the 1.50m competition against the clock presented by Gjelsten Holding.
Aboard the 13-year-old stallion Golden Hawk (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Chin Chin), Breen took home the win with a clear round in 65.09 seconds. Twelve of the 44 horse-and-rider combinations managed to produce clear rounds in this class, and the one that came closest to Breen was Christian Kukuk (GER) on Lacasino (Lordanos x Cassini I) in 65.58 seconds. Then followed Wilton Porter (USA) in third riding Caletto Cabana (Cassini I x Capecanaveral), Jur Vrieling (NED) in fourth riding Zypern III (Casall x Coriano) and Gudrun Patteet (BEL) in fifth riding Sea Coast Pebbles Z (Picasso x Flamenco de Semilly).
