This weekend, the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League 2024/2025-season kicks off in Oslo, Norway.
The entry list for Oslo includes Switzerland's Olympic vice-champion and current world no. two Steve Guerdat, as well as his compatriots Martin Fuchs and Edouard Schmitz, who will be joined by big names such as 2017 European Champion and six-time Olympian Peder Fredricson (SWE), former world number one Harrie Smolders (NED) and Gregory Wathelet (BEL), while the Gulliksen-family of Geir, Victoria and Johan-Sebastian will lead the host nation's side.
After the first leg in Oslo, the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League will move on to Helsinki (FIN), Lyon (FRA), Verona (ITA), and Stuttgart (GER). December will feature four events in Madrid (ESP), A Coruña (ESP), London (GBR) and Mechelen (BEL). The Western European League then continues in January 2025 with stops in Basel (SUI), Leipzig (GER) and Amsterdam (NED). February will conclude the qualifiers in Bordeaux (FRA) and Gothenburg (SWE).
The top 18 riders from the Western European League will qualify for the final in Basel, Switzerland, from 2-6 April 2025.
