The 2025-edition of London International Horse Show concluded on Monday with the CSI5*-W 1.60m Turkish Airlines Grand Prix, where Ireland’s Tom Wachman and the 12-year-old gelding Do It Easy (Vigo Cece x Laeken) took the top honours.
In a jump-off of five, the 20-year-old – who received the Longines FEI Rising Star Award in November – clocked the winning time of 32.59 seconds, taking the win ahead of another young talent, Canada’s Kara Chad aboard the 12-year-old gelding Igor GPH (Harley x Crawford).
Max Kühner (AUT) – who won the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ qualifier on Sunday – continued in great form, taking third with his relatively new ride Greece 5 (Mylord Carthago x Quinar Z). The living legend, home hero John Whitaker on Equine America Unick du Francport (Zandor x Helios de la Cour II) finished fourth, followed by Kim Emmen (NED) and Hellix du Seigneur (Curby du Seigneur x Calvaro F.C.) in fifth.
Earlier during the day, Kevin Staut (FRA) and Kannonqulan (Kannan x Quantum) won the CSI5*-W 1.50m Santa Speed Stakes. With a time of 57.57, Staut took the win ahead of Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Cancun Torel Z (Cosinhus x Grannus) in second in 57.88, followed by Jessica Mendoza (GBR) and I-Cap CL Z (I’M Special de Muze x Air Jordan) in third with a time of 58.24.
