Press release from Rolex Series, edited by World of Showjumping
On Saturday morning, all eyes were on the final qualification class for the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Agria at Falsterbo Horse Show 2025. With 48 riders on the start list in the CSIO5* 1.50m and one last chance to earn a spot in Sunday’s prestigious Grand Prix, the tension was high and the competition fierce.
Out of the 48 starters, 17 horse-and-rider combinations managed to deliver clear rounds – a testament to the quality of the field and the technical demands of the course.
As the class progressed, the times began to drop, but no one could match the incredible pace of Abdel Saïd. The Belgian rider, currently ranked 13th in the world and the highest-ranked Belgian, partnered with his talented Zasou Vom Claashof (Zinedine x Lord Z), delivered a lightning-fast clear in 64.34 seconds – by far the fastest of the day.
Great Britain’s Sienna Charles and Stardust (Chacco-Blue x Con Air 7) followed in second in 66.50, while Ireland’s Sean Monaghan and Toyger (Catwalk IV x Kannan) completed the top trio of the day with a clean and fast round in 66.81 seconds.
