At CSIO5* Falsterbo Horse Show 2025, the first qualifier for Sunday's Rolex Grand Prix presented by Agria took place on Thursday — with 57 world-class riders lining up for the CSIO5* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier presented by Trikem, which was a fast and technical class against the clock.
Sweden’s own Henrik von Eckermann — current world no. three — thrilled the home crowd with a blazing clear round aboard Steely Dan (Hardrock Z x Cardento), stopping the clock on 60.45 seconds to take the win. Spencer Smith (USA) and HHS Seattle (Pacino x Cavalier Royale) secured the second place, also fault-free in 60.90 seconds, followed by world no. one Kent Farrington (USA) with Myla (Crunch 3 x Quadros) in third in 61.37.
The victory in the second CSIO5* competition of the day, the 1.45m Stiftelsen Falsterbo Horse Show Prize, went to Brazil’s João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes De Lima and Georges de Beaufour (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly). With a time of 58.81 seconds, the Brazilian rider took the win ahead of Henrik von Eckermann and Glamour Girl (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caletto I) in second in 60.08, while Jenny Krogsæter (NOR) and Quana van Klapscheut (Iron Man van de Padenborre x Heartbreaker) placed third with a time of 60.62.
