Two of the world's very best horses could welcome an heir to the world this week, as Carlina and Vivant became parents to a beautiful colt.
On his Instagram-account, Aleksandr Onyshenko shared a picture of the new-born writing: "He was born today. Stallion from my top two horses Vivant and mother Carlina."
Vivant needs little introduction: He jumped at the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky with Chris Chugg, at the 2012 Olympic Games in London with Katharina Offel, at the 2014 World Championships and at the 2015 European Championships with Cassio Rivetti.
Carlina jumped at the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky, the 2011 European Championships in Madrid and at the 2012 Olympic Games in London with Pius Schwizer in the saddle, and the pair also won the World Cup qualifiers in Oslo and Helsinki back in 2011 as well as ending second and third in the World Cup Final in Geneva in 2010 and in Den Bosch in 2013 before she was sold to Onyshenko in 2013.
