The purpose of Ballypatrick Auctions is to give clients and riders a direct insight into both the up and coming prospects and more established jumpers that are being produced at Ballypatrick.

When speaking to Greg he believes that Ireland is the best country in the world to raise and produce horses. Mainly because of factors like the land and soil type, good horsemanship and a large range of young horse classes which help give the horses the best start in life.

The aim, of the auction is to keep progressing forward with better and better quality, this year we see some horses that have realistic 5-star potential.

At Ballypatrick there are between 50 and 60 foals bred each year bringing the number of horses on the farm to between 350/400. In the last number of years we have seen some top 5star horses come through this stable.

This auction is being developed as a showcase for these types of horses annually.

BP Artic Blue has been one of the most talked about up and coming young horses in Ireland
