Bidding opens today at www.thebillystudauction.co.uk for the first collection of 2021. This collection brings forward offspring from proven dam lines that have produced multiple horses competing at 1.50/1.60m level.

Billy Diamo was the recent winner of the 3* 1.50m Grand Prix of Gorla Minore. This auction sees the full-brother and full-sister to him come under the hammer. Billy Diamo now heads to St Gallen to join Team GB on Nations Cup duty.

Billy Hastings and Billy Duchess both remind me of Billy Diamo as a young horse. Horses need to have enough scope and a good brain right from the outset - both of these 4-year-olds possess the qualities that you would look for in a future Grand Prix horse.

Also included in Saturday's auction is Billy Bentos, the half-brother of Darragh Kenny’s 5* winning ride Billy Dorito, along with Billy Zsa Zsa, the half-sister of Billy Bianca who was hugely successful with Olympic gold medalist Laura Kraut. Billy Ruble also looks to be set for great things already having 2 half-sisters jumping 1.50m and 2 half-sisters jumping 1.45m.
