Foal Auction Prinsjesdag and CSI Ommen have once again joined forces and present an exceptional collection of showjumpers and foals. On Thursday 6 July, the four showjumpers will be presented under saddle and on Saturday 8 July, the foals will be presented. Saturday evening from 09.00 PM, the four showjumpers and seven foals will be auctioned by auctioneer Koen Olaerts.
“We are delighted to work together once again with CSI Ommen,” Prinsjesdag chairman Arjan van der Waaij states. The seven showjumping foals represent Europe's best damlines, such as the lines of Emerald, Van 't Roosakker, Qerly Chin and Van 't Heike. The collection of showjumpers consists of 5- and 6-year-old top talents, including, the highly successful Azure SDH Z. “We think this mare has got all the ingredients for the big sport; really a horse for the future,” Hendrik-Jan Schuttert explains, organizer of CSI Ommen and responsible for the showjumper collection.
Fillies from leading damlines
Arjan van der Waaij: “We have managed to select foals from exceptional damlines. In addition to a number of very promising colts, we have also been able to add some outstanding fillies to the collection this year.”
One particular filly, for example, is Balouca van 't Reevediep Z - a daughter of Balou du Reventon and a great-granddaughter of Electra van 't Roosakker. The Bamako de Muze daughter Blueberry Blitz van de Dreef is also very interesting and ultimately goes back to the famous Narcotique de Muze II. Another exclusive filly is Twinkle Leva WD - a daughter of Canturo son Camargo and bred out of the half-sister of Nations Cup showjumper Hernandez TN. Also of interest is the Chacoon Blue daughter The Minka MB from the famous Minka line and the Diamant de Semilly daughter Diamantje B & N - going back to top mare Volympia van 't Heike.
Colts out of the family of Emerald & of Walnut de Muze
The two colts are also of the highest quality. Balou du Reventon son Torre W is bred out of the full sister of Nixon van 't Meulenhof and thus the half-sister of the world-famous Emerald. The special colt Ace of Spades is a son of Emerald out of a daughter of Chacoon Blue and goes back to Grand Prix mares J'Adore van het Schaeck and Walnut de Muze.
The five sporthorses owned by the Schuttert family are overflowing with quality. On Thursday 6 July, the showjumpers will be presented at 07:30 PM and on Friday and Saturday, the auction horses are available for trials.
The 5-year-old Azure SDH Z (Apardi x Clinton) is an exceptional mare who has already proven to be among the best of her year. Last year, she became the vice champion in the final of the GMB Competition and also now as a 5-year-old, she still shows enormous potential.
The 6-year-old Numika (Numero Uno x Berlin) is bred from the line of two-time world champion Barnike and already jumped some impressive rounds at the international level.
Complete horses with a lot of potential
The Jardonnay VDL son No Surrender is a 5-year-old with extra quality. The Harley VDL daughter Nikita van de Driehoekhoeve comes from the Schuttert family's own breeding and stands out for athletic ability, reflexes and excellent rideability.
