Dark Grey, by Diacasall x Großadmiral
Interested people from all over the world have been looking forward to Monday 28 October. This was the day on which the online catalogue of the 15th international Holger Hetzel Sport Horse Sale was officially released. The auction will be held on Wednesday 27 November at his training stables in Goch, Germany. The collection compiled by Holger Hetzel and his team after searching throughout Europe for a year, then to be expertly trained, can truly be called unique.
Twenty exceptional talents with international top-class pedigrees fill this catalogue. The horses are 5-, 6- or 7-yr-olds and have already scored one or more remarkable successes. Holger Hetzel purposefully selected a great variety of horses in order to meet the demands of as many clients as possible.
One of the eyecatchers is, for example, the 6-yr-old gelding Awesome. The son of the excellent sire Diamant de Semilly out of a Clarimo daughter combines the best showjumping damlines in his pedigree. As vice champion of the Holsteiner Championships and finalist at the German Championships for young horses (Bundeschampionate) in Warendorf 2019, he demonstrated that his jumping genes justify all expectations for his sport performance. This horse will suit many different clients.
A slightly different type is the tall-framed Dark Grey. This gelding, descending from Diacasall and a Großadmiral daughter, already made an impression in the ring this year. The 5-yr-old won several qualifiers for the Bundeschampionate, earning the fantastic mark 9.0. In Warendorf he qualified for the finals and then gave a worthy performance at World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. Besides Awesome and Dark Gray the collection contains another eighteen top-class horses that can offer an exciting alternative for the clients.
