He has the heart of a lion. Your next winner!

Mountain Man is an eight year old, exceptionally talented gelding that sets new scope, attitude and quality benchmarks. He is a very bold horse that confidently answers all the rider’s questions in the show jumping ring with ease and aplomb.

In canter and especially over jumps this top-bred gelding does his quality pedigree proud. He’s attentive, incredibly powerful, has excellent technique and limitless scope. Despite his modest appearance, he captivates riders, spectators and experts when he jumps.

This gelding’s impressive jump is in part due to his genetic make-up. His sire, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve by Narcos II x Laudanum, was a top Grand Prix horse with Roelof Bril that always passes on his talent to his descendants. Some of the best examples are Hermelien vd Hooghoeve (Ali Ramsay), Anneline (Thiago Aquino De Arruda Martins), Bintang II (Laura Renwick), Billy Angelo (William Funnell), Tobago Z (Daniel Deusser), Tembla (Karl Cook), Warrior (Jamak Rahimov), Citizenguard Taalex (Grégory Wathelet), Coleman (Cassio Rivett), Sea Coast Calypso van de Zuuthoeve (Gudrun Patteet), Crandessa (Luca Coata), X-Factor (Joanna Assenmacher), and there are many more.

Dam sire Thunder van de Zuuthoeve has Argentinus x Nimmerdor x Lord in his pedigree. Need we say more? Thunder competed very successfully at international level with Jos Lansink and Jan van Dijck, and now his offspring are creating a stir in the ring. He is one of the best Belgian jumping horse breeding stallions, with progeny such as Olympic Games contestant HH Azur (Mclain Ward), Gunder (Ali Al Rumaihi) and Domino (Jos Verlooy), Eldorado van het Vijverhof (Gregory Wathelet) and Breezer van het Arendshof (Juan Antonio de Wit).

In the third generation, the bloodline is refined by Capital, a stallion which like its offspring was a successful international sport horse competing in classes up to 1.60m level.

Mountain Man’s success story began with his first competition back in 2013 and has remained unbroken ever since as he rises up the ranks. He was ridden by an amateur in classes suitable for his age and has countless wins and placings in national classes up to 1.35m, as well as international placings. Just a few months of professional training prove that this is a future Grand Prix horse, ready to compete in top-level classes.

An exceptionally talented horse with a big heart. Mountain Man will take you to the top!
