Holsteiner sport horses successfully compete around the world

Wins at Paris, Aachen, Falsterbo, as well as nominations for the Rio Olympics: Holsteiner sport horses successfully compete at many show grounds all over the world and guarantee wins. Like for example Lintea Tequila, who has secured Global Champion Tour wins under her rider Edwina Tops-Alexander and is now to compete at the Rio Olympics for Australia. The mare was sold through the 2003 Holsteiner foal auction and will fly the Australian flag at the summer Olympics.

This might be reason enough to look around for your future sport horses or breeding stock at the foal auctions in Behrendorf and Elmshorn. The next opportunity to purchase a future Olympic horse at a very young age is on 27 and 28 August, when more than 90 hand-picked colt and filly foals are to enter the Behrendorf and Elmshorn auction rings.

Once again, Casall, the current Holsteiner poster stallion and sport horse, is being represented by the most offspring. The Caretino son embodies all the traits Holsteiner horses are famed for: fighting spirit, a winning attitude, and hardiness. Three foals by this exceptional stallion are to enter the auction ring in Behrendorf, as much as seven at Elmshorn. Colman offspring are quite a fixture on the result lists, his son L.B. Convall surprisingly won the Aachen Grand Prix just recently. Colman foals will be put to auction in Behrendorf as well as at Elmshorn. Diarado, represented by a total of six foals, has clearly demonstrated his potential as a sire with 33 licensed sons all over Germany. The Diamat de Semilly son’s sport horse offspring have earned more than 100,000 euros as yet.

The foals will be presented in Behrendorf on 27 August at 3 o’clock, the auction starts at 5 o’clock. The next day, at Elmshorn, the foals will be publicly presented at 11 o’clock, with the auction starting at 2 o’clock.
