The spring auction sale on 25 March is the opener of the Holsteiner Verband season, a riding horse auction with an offering in the four- to seven-year-old age bracket complemented by very interesting three-year-old uncut diamonds.
Auction manager Felix Flinzer and his team have selected a total of 33 horses which hold particular value, not only in terms of bloodline, but also for sport: like for example a Quibery-Lancer II daughter, Itsy Bitsy (lot no 118), already successfully shown at international 1.25m level. Her second dam’s produce includes sport horses which have been ranked up to 1.60m level, like for example Lancero (Vladimir Tuganov/PLE). Lot no 115, Massimo, is by Million Dollar out of a Cormint dam. The third dam of this gelding whose own achievements include placings up to international 1.30m level, is no other than Rasmus Lüneburg’s (GER) 1.55m level show jumper, Leica by Alcatraz, which had been placed in the Hamburg Jumping Derby. Canturado SR by Canturano I-Acorado (lot no 103) has won up to 1.20m level. He is directly related to Com es ta by Comme il faut, shown at 1.50m level by Markus Renzel (GER). All horses, including their own and their relatives’ performance, as well as photos and videos are available for online viewing on www.holsteiner.auction.
The first public appearance of the ridden four-year-old and older horses (lot no:s 101 - 120) is on Sunday, 5 March 2023 at 2.00 in the afternoon: after the opening presentation showing the horses jumping an age-appropriate course they can be tried out under saddle. The presentation is live-streamed by ClipMyHorse.tv.
