Czech Republic’s acclaimed rider Zuzana Zelinkova has competed at three European Championships and once at the World Equestrian Games, but her focus is on producing young horses up to the highest level of the sport. Riding green horses up to five-star horses, Zuzana Zelinkova experiences a great benefit from Equine 74 Gastric on all of them.

“I love to work with young horses. About four years ago, I started to buy young talented showjumpers along with my sponsor Olga Placha. Every year, we bought a few young horses aged five or six-years-old and we try to build them up to the highest level,” Zelinkova explains. Her best horse at the moment, the now thirteen-year-old stallion Caleri II, Zuzana has known for over ten years. “With my previous sponsor, we bought him at the age of 2,5 years old and I rode him until he was around five-year-old. Later on I got him back as a nine-year-old! It is really fun to know your horses for such long and I am very happy to compete them at four- and five-star level!”

Excellent results after one month

Performing at the highest level takes a concentrated and relaxed horse, Zuzana points out. “From my German friend Dirk Ahlmann I heard about Equine 74 Gastric. For my best stallion Caleri II, I was already using Gastrogard – but that is a really expensive product and also a medicine. Since I had to give it to him every day, I was happy to get an alternative,” Zuzana explains.

“After only one month of feeding Equine 74 Gastric, I started to see the results. He became much more quiet and concentrated on the work. Also before, during and after shows, he was eating very well. So the product really helped him! Then I decided to feed it to all my horses.”

All horses easier and more quiet

Not only her wonderful stallion Caleri II, but also Zuzana’s other horses feel better from Equine 74 Gastric. “The horses get much more balanced thanks to Equine 74 Gastric. They eat well and they don’t lose weight. I can really feed them what they need now, because they will eat everything. And besides that, they get much more concentrated and easier to ride for me,” Zuzana says. “I have quite a couple of stallions and first I was not so happy to work with them, being a girl. But thanks to Equine 74 Gastric, I have the feeling they are much more quiet and easier to handle,” Zuzana says. 

Aiming for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Europe Division One League

For 2016, Zelinkova has some major plans and goals where Equine 74 Gastric could also lend a helping hand. “The Czech showjumpers will move up to the first division of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Europe Division One League this year, so that will involve a lot of travelling for us. It will be a big challenge, so I will need a product that can support us, like Equine 74 Gastric!”
