Bertram Allen's new winning mount Castlefield Vegas has already been sold to Mexico.
Bertram Allen has announced the sale of Castlefield Vegas (Cassino x Lux Z) to Mexico's Sergio Nieto del Rio.
Allen got the ride on the 11-year-old gelding at the beginning of the year and won no less than three classes with him at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington – including a CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix.
Castlefield Vegas has previously been ridden by Jason Foley as well as Gerard O’Neill and started up as a youngster with Philip Carey. Together with Jason Foley, the gelding won the gold medal at the European Championships for juniors in 2018.
