After dominating the WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List for the last six months, Simon Delestre's ride Chesall Zimequest (Casall x Concerto II) has finished on top of the final 2016 standings for breeders of showjumping horses. The 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding is bred by Günther Schüder, and has collected a total of 2270 points in the period from 1st of October 2015 to 30th of September 2016.

Second-best on the final ranking for 2016 is Eric Lamaze's Rio bronze medalist Fine Lady 5 (Forsyth x Drosselklang II), a 13-year-old Hannoveraner-mare bred by Wilhelm Leymann. She has collected 1756 points overall. Rank three is Kent Farrington's 10-year-old BWP mare Gazelle (Kashmir van't Schuttershof x Indoctro) bred by Werner Hyeninkx-Van Hoornick, with 1755 points.

For the studbooks the Holsteiner Verband has been crowned the best overall, with Chesall Zimequest, Lintea Tequila (Campell x Corrado II) and Casall Ask (Caretino x Lavall I) as their three best representatives.

Studbook Zangersheide finishes as rank two, with Don VHP Z (Diamant de Semilly x Voltaire), HH Carlos Z (Chellano Z x Voltaire) and Casallo Z (Casall x Carthago Z) as their three best horses. The BWP studbook ends as rank three for 2016, with Gazelle, First Class van Eeckelghem (Balou du Rouet x Feinschintt I van de Richter) and Flora de Mariposa (For Pleasure x Powerlight) as its three best horses.

At the 2016 WBFSH annual meeting in Geneva in December the winning studbooks of the three disciplines dressage, jumping and eventing will be honored.
