For a fifth consecutive month, Simon Delestre's ride Chesall Zimequest (Casall x Concerto II) tops the 2016 WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List for breeders of showjumping horses. The 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding bred by Günther Schüder was the head liner of the April, May, June and July-rankings, and is also no. one on the August-list released this week. Chesall Zimequest has collected a total of 1780 points in the period from 1st of October 2015 to 31st of August 2016.
On 1746 points follows Eric Lamaze's Rio bronze medalist Fine Lady 5 (Forsyth x Drosselklang II), a 13-year-old Hannoveraner-mare bred by Wilhelm Leymann. The 10-year-old KWPN gelding Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) seen under Laura Renwick and bred by E.J.M. Bleekman is still in the top three, this time ranked third. Peder Fredricson's Olympic silver medalist H&M All In (Kashmir van't Schuttershof x Andiamo Z), a 10-year-old SbS-gelding bred by Bas Huybregts, is rank four while rank five is Kent Farrington's 10-year-old BWP mare Gazelle (Kashmir van't Schuttershof x Indoctro) bred by Werner Hyeninkx-Van Hoornick.
The Holsteiner Verband still tops the studbook rankings, with Chesall Zimequest, Lintea Tequila (Campell x Corrado II) and Casall Ask (Caretino x Lavall I) as their three best representatives.
Studbook Zangersheide remains as rank two, with Casallo Z (Casall x Carthago Z), HH Carlos Z (Chellano Z x Voltaire) and Cas de Liberte (Cracky Z Chellano Z) as their three top horses.
The BWP studbook is ranked third on this month's list, and has Gazelle as it's best representative, joined by Flora de Mariposa (For Pleasure x Powerlight) and First Class van Eeckelghem (Balou du Rouet x Feinschintt I van de Richter) as its three best horses.
